RedShield adds ISO 27001 certification to security credentials
The ISO standard helps organizations keep information assets secure by establishing requirements for an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS), and the foundation for an effective security program. All operations and maintenance of systems, assets, and processes utilized in the delivery of RedShield’s services have been certified as compliant to ISO 27001:2013 by independent auditors.
“Adding ISO 27001 to our stable of certifications provides our customers with a level of trust and confidence from a data security perspective. It demonstrates our commitment to the protection and privacy of their customers’ data,“ says Andy Prow, CEO of RedShield. “In the end it is they who pay the price when security fails, and it is our duty to protect them.”
This certification adds to the list of international standards and regulations that RedShield already complies with:
- Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
- CSA Cloud Security Alliance STAR Level 1
- NZ TaaS Certification (NZ Government Agencies only)
- EU-US Privacy Shield and Swiss-US Privacy Shield
- EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
RedShield achieved multi-site certification, covering its locations in New Zealand, Australia, and globally.
